An estate in the heart of the Jura
Founded in 1250, Château de l’Étoile has a history that spans centuries, where the vines preserve the memory of time. Under the leadership of Louis Fourrier, the estate continues to move forward with a vision that remains faithful to the spirit of the place.

Located in the heart of the Jura region, Château de l’Étoile is the soul of an exceptional terroir. Our estate covers nearly 17 hectares within the L’Étoile appellation, one of the smallest and most prestigious in the Jura region. This mosaic of plots is home to a rich diversity of grape varieties emblematic of the Jura, guaranteeing the typical character and quality of our great Jura wines.

The history of the L’Étoile vineyard is deeply rooted in time, well beyond its official recognition as an appellation in 1936. Dating back to Gallo-Roman times, the cultivation of the hillsides is attested to in writings from as early as the 13th century.
